Detroit Pistons vs. Los Angeles Lakers
NBA: 9:30 PM EST, Jan. 15, 2017, TV: FSD
The Detroit Pistons have been up & down for most of the season, but have been unable to pick up the pace as visitors, losing 15 games and winning only 8 games when not at home.

The Pistons have fallen to a losing record but haven’t been as bad as other teams, getting an 18 -24 record this season, but losing 6 of the last (10) games. The Lakers, on the other hand, have done terribly, getting a 15-28 record, and losing 6 of the last 10 games, but have been able to do some shining with a 10-11 record at home this season.

Detroit Pistons have been really bad offensively, getting through only 99.7 points per game showing the lack of offensive power that has haunted them this season. Defensively the team is just not doing enough to come up with the wins to support the terrible offense, allowing 101.1 points per game. The Lakers, on the other hand, have been settling in offensively, and have scored 104.7 points per game offensively, and have crumbled defensively, allowing 110.3 points per game this season.

Los Angeles Lakers have looked up at their players to pick up the wins, but have failed to do so. The Lakers, however, have seen slow production from the players. Lou Williams has been the top scorer in the Lakers lineup, amassing 17.6 points per game, Julius Randle leads the Lakers w/ 8.6 rebounds and D’Angelo Russell leads the team with 4.6 assists per game.

Detroit Pistons, on the other hand, have had some production that is of the Los Angeles Lakers caliber, Tobias Harris leads the Pistons with 16.5 points per game this season, followed by Reggie Jackson with 16.3 points per game. Andre Drummond has 13.5 rebounds per game, alongside Reggie Jackson for 5.3 assists per game.
